- Our campaign started in spring 2018, following reports that the Pump Room had been temporarily closed to the public without notice. In 2018 and 2019 we conducted mystery shopping surveys of the visitor experience at the Pump Room which revealed significant areas of concern.
- We became an independent association in November 2019, having originally been a sub-committee of Friends of Pittville; you can see our constitution here. Since then, we have been campaigning to promote and protect the Pump Room as the jewel in Cheltenham’s heritage crown. To find out more, read our latest Annual Report and follow our Facebook page .
